This started initially as purely an exercise to make a cool floor, and learn some more about pattern creation. But the more I went on, the more I missed working on the blood from Redfall, so I decided to make a toggle for these patterns that splatted blood with procedural or custom masks, as well as took into account crevices and focused seepage around the pools. It was a really fun experiment to learn about integrating aspects of materials into each other so they can play off each other.
