Redfall - Intro Mission Ferry

One of the largest assets that was my responsibility on Redfall, physically as well as in terms of visibility was the modeling and construction of the intro mission ferry. I mostly worked with level architect Liz Kim on this space to get the overall feel of each area to be in line with her vision and the vibe of the opening of the game. I modeled all of the main body and trim of the ferry. This included the structural trims, mesh decal set for damage and construction details, safety stair kit, and all tilebles apart from the roof in the passenger area and the sandpaper anti-slip flooring in the car bay.

The whole model was built 1:1 inside of a blueprint for easy updating of components and LOD and distance fields, as well as instancing of repeated sub-assets. I am at the mercy of screenshots I had taken after I finished the asset as well as a few borrowed from Liz, but I feel like this post represents my work fairly.

The doorways and door mesh were created by an external partner; additional assets were kitbashed from the textures for the windows and portholes. The antenna models were pulled from an external partner's boat model for instancing purposes.
